My Experiments

I experimented with type, through movement. My earlier research of sound waves and sound bars from the stereo brought me to using this letter A, shaking the table it was placed on to get a closer look at what happens through vibration.

My Sketches

Using various sounds, the sounds form a line and starts to peak and move up and down like an ECG (Electrogariogram Machine).

The line ends, the letters form one big letter which starts to vibrate (a reaction to the sounds).

 I am looking at how the bars (sound levels) of the music player Hi Fi system can be used to express vibration with the level of the sound bars.

I have also looked at Neville Brody's work for inspiration.

Expression

Sigmund Freud.

Physcologist and inflential thinker amongst others, Sigmund Freud researched the mind and the unconcious, .His theory of the human mind was that it was an 'energy system' and worked on the treatment of human actions in psychology.

1st Presentation and Critique

We had our first Presentation of our case study

Ade joined our group today.

Our group met up today to talk about case study for T.e.r.a.s.lab Project.
We have a presentation on Tuesday to present our case study and research.
We talked about using some 3D approches in our work.
